All Inclusive Holidays: Done Properly, Done Honestly
All-inclusive holidays from the operator that built its business on them. Turkey, Greece, Malta, Egypt and Morocco — hotels we know inside out, ATOL on flight-inclusive packages, and a clear breakdown of what’s actually included before you pay.
All-inclusive is what we’ve sold most of, for longest. It’s the format British holidaymakers ask for more than any other — and the one most operators do badly. A glossy hotel photo, an “all-inclusive” label, and a small-print page that contradicts everything you thought was included.
We’ve never built our business that way.
“All-inclusive should mean you turn up, you check in, and the only thing you’re reaching for your wallet for is a beach excursion or a paid spa treatment. If you’re queuing at a till for a coffee at 11am, something’s gone wrong with the booking.”
Mehmet — GoToBeach FounderThere are two reasons all-inclusive holidays go wrong. First, the customer didn’t know what was actually included before they paid. Second, the hotel they ended up at wasn’t the right one for the kind of holiday they wanted. We try to head both of those off before you book.
Not every destination is equal on all-inclusive. Some markets do it brilliantly; some do it as an afterthought. Here’s where to go, what to expect, and which star hotels we send the most repeat customers to.
Turkey
Turkey invented modern ultra-all-inclusive and remains the benchmark. Six restaurants minimum at five-star level, premium drinks, water parks, kids’ clubs, spa — all genuinely included. Belek, Lara, Side, Kemer, Bodrum.
Greece
Greek all-inclusive has improved sharply in the last five years. Premium operators like Mitsis run AI products that genuinely compete with Turkey on quality. Crete, Kos, Rhodes and the larger Greek islands all do it well.
Malta
Malta does all-inclusive well at the mid-market level, with a clear English-speaking advantage for British families. Mellieha and St Paul’s Bay are the strongest areas. Short flight, no language barrier, properly sandy beaches.
Egypt
Egypt is the strongest winter-sun AI destination from the UK. Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh resorts deliver Turkish-level inclusions at noticeably lower price points. The Red Sea adds genuinely world-class snorkelling and diving.
Morocco
Morocco’s all-inclusive is more limited in scope than Turkey’s. The food is good, the inclusions are reasonable, but the breadth and depth of Turkish ultra-AI isn’t replicated. Agadir works as AI; Marrakech is better as a riad-and-restaurants holiday.
Belek — Its Own Category
Belek deserves its own line. The combination of championship golf courses with ultra-all-inclusive five-star hotels next to them is unique in Europe. If you golf and you want AI, Belek is unbeatable on price-quality.
All-inclusive holidays cluster into three rough price bands depending on hotel category, destination and season. Here’s what to expect at each level, all-in including flights and transfers, for a 7-night week in shoulder season.
Good-Value AI
4-star hotels in Turkey, Egypt, parts of Greece and Malta. Genuine all-inclusive (meals, soft drinks, local alcohol), good food, comfortable rooms. Won’t have premium restaurants or branded spirits.
Mid-Range Ultra AI
5-star Turkish AI, premium Greek AI, top Maltese hotels. Multiple à la carte restaurants, premium drinks, water parks or proper kids’ programming. This is where most of our bookings land.
Five-Star Plus
Top-tier Turkish AI (Titanic Deluxe, Kaya Palazzo), the best Greek 5-stars (Mitsis Blue Domes, Lyttos Mare). All-inclusive plus packages, premium spirits, suites, full spa programmes included.
The bit most all-inclusive pages skim over. Here’s what is included at most properties, what depends on the hotel, and what is almost never included anywhere.

Families with kids
The classic AI customer. Predictable cost, kids can graze through the day, no faffing with restaurant bills. Turkey and Egypt deliver this format best. Aim for hotels with proper kids’ clubs and shallow pools.
Couples wanting full relaxation
No decisions for a week. Breakfast, pool, lunch, swim, dinner, bar. Adults-only AI resorts in Crete and Belek do this format particularly well — quieter, more refined, no kids in the buffet.
Golfers (Belek specifically)
Belek’s combination of ultra-AI and championship golf courses is unique. Hotels handle the tee times. Non-playing partner has a five-star week at the resort. Best golf-holiday value in Europe right now.
Multi-generational groups
Two or three generations on one holiday. AI removes the “who’s paying for what” conversation entirely. Larger resorts in Belek and Lara handle group bookings particularly well.
