Luxury Holidays: Curated, Not Catalogued
Five-star hotels we’d send our own families to. Private transfers, ATOL protection on flight-inclusive packages, and a real person on the end of the phone — the way luxury holidays should actually feel. Turkey, Greece, Malta and Morocco.
Most luxury holiday pages on the internet look about the same. A list of five-star hotels you could find on any aggregator. Some pretty photos. A price filter. The same Maldives override that everyone runs. The same overwater villa shot you’ve seen a hundred times.
That’s not what we do.
Luxury at GoToBeach means a small list of properties we actually know. Hotels where our team has stayed, walked the rooms, eaten the food, and met the people running it. Hotels where we know the General Manager by first name. The kind of place where, when something needs sorting on your week, a call from us moves quicker than a 24-hour ticket from a portal.
“Anyone can sell a five-star hotel. What you actually want from a luxury holiday is the bit that happens around the hotel — the transfer driver who knows where you’re going, the airport meet, the room that’s ready when you arrive, the small problem solved before you notice it. That’s where the agency earns its keep.”
Thomas Kaplan — GoToBeach Product ManagerWe don’t sell every five-star hotel in every destination. We sell the ones we’d book ourselves. That’s a much shorter list, and we think that’s a feature, not a bug.
The hotel website will list the spa hours and the restaurants. We’ll tell you which restaurant the chef actually cooks at on Wednesdays, and which spa therapist to ask for. That’s the difference.
Private airport transfers
No shared shuttles, no waiting for the last bag. Private car from arrivals to the hotel door. Included in luxury packages as standard.
Direct line to the hotel
Special requests, room preferences, dietary notes, anniversary surprises — we pass them direct to the hotel before you arrive, not through a call centre.
Room category that earns its name
We don’t default to the cheapest category. We tell you which rooms are actually worth the upgrade, and which look the same on paper but face the car park.
Honest restaurant briefing
At five-star resorts the à la carte restaurants book up on day one. We tell you which to book, which to skip, and which night each one peaks.
UK-based after-hours
If your flight’s delayed at midnight, you call us. We’re a UK team. No outsourced overnight desk in another time zone.
ATOL on flight-inclusive packages
Every flight-inclusive luxury package booked through us is ATOL-protected under licence 11211. The protection that matters if the operator side goes wrong.
A short list. These are the properties we send the most repeat customers to — the ones we genuinely know inside out.
Cullinan Belek
Golf Couples Suites
One of Belek’s flagship five-stars, with a private beach club, Aegean-meets-Mediterranean cuisine, and a dedicated golf concierge that handles your tee times across the Belek courses. The standout for British golfers who want their non-playing partner to have a five-star week too.
Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek
Family Golf AI+
Titanic’s Belek flagship — vast, lively, and properly delivering on the ultra-all-inclusive promise. Strong choice for families who want five-star service without quiet-resort hush. The golf course on site is one of Belek’s best.
Titanic Deluxe Lara
Family Beach AI+
Direct beach access on Lara’s long sandy strand, with one of the most extensive food programmes of any Turkish five-star. Eight à la carte restaurants, all included. A safe bet for British families wanting genuine luxury without leaving the hotel grounds.
Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort
Golf Honeymoon Premium
The grown-up choice in Belek. Quieter than Titanic, more refined than its peers, with a focus on golf, food and proper service. Particularly good for couples and small families wanting five-star without the buffet-mayhem feel.
Lyttos Mare
Family Beach Crete
Eleni’s pick for premium Crete — a properly five-star family resort with a direct sandy beach, multiple pools, and a food programme that ranks among the best on the island. The Greek answer to Belek’s family flagships.
Mitsis Selection Blue Domes
Couples Family Premium AI
Mitsis’s flagship Kos resort — expansive, beachfront, with the kind of service polish that explains why guests come back year after year. The benchmark five-star all-inclusive in the Aegean.
There are more we’d add to this list — Sani Resort in Halkidiki, the InterContinental in Mdina, the boutique riads of Marrakech. Speak to the team and we’ll match the right one to your week.
Not every luxury holiday is the same holiday. Here’s how we segment what we sell, and which destinations work for which type of traveller.
Honeymooners
Kos, Crete, Belek for golf-couples, or the quieter Moroccan resorts. We work directly with hotels on honeymoon recognition — sparkling wine on arrival, dinner upgrades, late checkout where possible. Tell us your dates and we’ll handle it from there.
Golfers
Belek is the answer for the vast majority. Cullinan, Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek and Kaya Palazzo all sit directly on top-tier courses, with hotel-managed tee-time bookings included. Some of the best golf-holiday value in Europe right now.
Couples without kids
Quieter resorts, smaller scale, better food. Cullinan Belek and the boutique Greek hotels work particularly well. We’ll point you away from family-focused flagships to the resorts that feel right for two.
Families wanting space
Titanic Deluxe Lara, Lyttos Mare, Mitsis Blue Domes — resorts large enough to give kids structured programming and adults a quiet pool to retreat to. Suite categories with separate kids’ sleeping areas matter more than most parents realise — we’ll guide you to the right configuration.
Three honest points worth knowing before you book anywhere, with anyone.
First, five-star isn’t a standard. A five-star in Belek and a five-star in Marrakech and a five-star in Mykonos are three different products. The classification system is local, not international. We’ll tell you what a particular hotel’s five-star actually looks like in practice.
Second, all-inclusive premium isn’t always better. Some of the very top hotels run B&B or half-board because their à la carte food is too good to package. If you’re booking a luxury holiday, the AI question is worth a real conversation — sometimes the right answer is HB and a couple of evenings in the local town.
Third, the destination changes the price ceiling more than the hotel. Turkey’s top five-star hotels deliver service that would cost twice as much in Greece or the south of France. A Belek week can come in at £1,200–£2,000 per person all-in, where the equivalent product on a Greek island can be £2,500+. That’s not the hotels — that’s the market.
