Holiday Perks with GoToBeach

How added-value benefits work, what may be included, and how perks are confirmed before you travel

A GoToBeach customer information guide

The short version

Selected GoToBeach holidays may include added-value benefits such as included resort transfers, hotel credits, spa discounts, welcome amenities, room upgrade requests, early check-in or late check-out benefits, depending on the hotel, destination, supplier terms and availability. A holiday perk is only part of your booking where it is clearly shown in your quote, booking confirmation, hotel voucher or supplier documentation. If a perk is described as subject to availability, it is not guaranteed and may depend on hotel occupancy, arrival time, room category and local supplier conditions.

What are holiday perks?

Holiday perks are added-value benefits that may be available with selected GoToBeach packages. They are designed to make your holiday smoother, more comfortable or better value, but they are not the same as the core holiday services you are buying.

Your core holiday services are things such as the flight, hotel, room type, board basis and transfer where included. A perk is an additional benefit that may be attached to a particular package, hotel offer, room category, campaign or supplier arrangement.

Important: perks are not universal. They vary by destination, hotel, travel date, room type, offer, supplier and availability. The only perks that apply to your booking are the ones clearly shown on your quote, booking confirmation, hotel voucher or other supplier documentation.

Types of perks that may be available

The exact benefits available vary from hotel to hotel. Examples of perks that may be offered on selected holidays include:

Possible perk How it may work Important condition
Included resort transfers Airport-to-hotel transfers may be included in selected packages. Only included where shown in your booking details or transfer voucher.
Room upgrade request We may request a better room type or view category with the hotel. Usually subject to hotel availability and not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
Early check-in The hotel may allow earlier access to the room before the standard check-in time. Normally subject to room readiness and hotel occupancy on arrival.
Late check-out The hotel may allow use of the room after the standard check-out time. Usually subject to availability and may carry a local charge.
Spa or wellness discount Selected hotels may offer spa discounts, treatment credits or wellness benefits. May require pre-booking and may exclude certain treatments or peak times.
Hotel credit A credit may be applied for food, drinks, spa, golf or resort services. Only valid where shown and subject to hotel terms, expiry and usage rules.
Welcome amenity Examples include fruit, wine, sweets, flowers or a small welcome gift. May vary by hotel, season and room category.
Special occasion note We can pass honeymoon, anniversary or birthday notes to the hotel. Requests are passed on but are not guaranteed unless the hotel confirms a specific benefit.
Golf or sports benefits Selected packages may include golf rounds, buggy offers, equipment storage or sports-related extras. Subject to the package, course terms, tee-time availability and supplier confirmation.

Confirmed perks vs requested perks

This is the most important distinction. Some benefits are confirmed as part of your package. Others are requests passed to the hotel or supplier.

Confirmed perk

A confirmed perk is clearly shown in your quote, booking confirmation, hotel voucher, transfer voucher or supplier documentation. For example: “private transfer included”, “hotel credit included”, “late check-out confirmed until 14:00”, or “3 rounds of golf included”.

Requested or subject-to-availability perk

A requested perk is not guaranteed. Examples include room upgrade requests, early check-in requests, late check-out requests, honeymoon amenities or preferred room location requests. These depend on hotel availability, local operational conditions and supplier approval at or before arrival.

If something matters to your holiday, tell us before booking. We can confirm whether it can be guaranteed, requested only, or added at an extra cost.

Hotel perks vs GoToBeach package inclusions

Some benefits are provided by GoToBeach as part of your package arrangement. Others are provided by the hotel directly. This difference matters because hotel perks are normally subject to the hotel’s own terms and operational control.

Type Example Who controls it?
GoToBeach package inclusion Flight, hotel, selected transfer, selected baggage add-on, confirmed package extra GoToBeach arranges the package and works with the relevant supplier.
Hotel-provided perk Room upgrade, early check-in, late check-out, welcome amenity, hotel credit, spa discount The hotel controls availability, delivery and local conditions.
Airline or airport extra Seat selection, extra baggage, lounge, fast track, airport parking The airline, airport or third-party provider controls the service.
Local supplier benefit Private transfer upgrade, VIP vehicle, golf buggy, excursion discount The local supplier controls delivery and terms.

Transfers, baggage and upgrades

Some customers think of transfers, baggage or upgrades as holiday perks. In practice, these should be treated as confirmed services only where they are clearly shown in your documents.

  • Transfers: included only where shown in your booking details and transfer voucher.
  • Baggage: depends on airline, fare class and any baggage add-ons purchased.
  • Room upgrades: guaranteed only where a higher room category is booked and confirmed. Otherwise, upgrade requests are subject to hotel availability.
  • Private transfers: included only where confirmed. Otherwise, they may be offered as a paid upgrade.
  • Golf extras: tee times, buggies, club hire and golf inclusions depend on the package, course rules and supplier confirmation.

Where a benefit is important to you, ask us to confirm whether it is included, requested, subject to availability or available at an extra cost before you book.

How perks are confirmed

Perks are confirmed through your booking documents. Depending on the type of benefit, confirmation may appear in one or more of the following:

  • Your GoToBeach quote
  • Your booking confirmation
  • Your hotel voucher
  • Your transfer voucher
  • Your airline documentation
  • Supplier notes or written confirmation from our reservations team

If a perk is only mentioned in general marketing text but does not appear in your quote, confirmation or voucher, please ask us before assuming it applies to your specific booking.

What happens if a perk is unavailable?

If a confirmed perk cannot be provided, we will review the position with the relevant supplier and explain the available options. The outcome depends on what was confirmed, who was responsible for providing it, and the supplier terms that apply.

If a perk was requested only or marked as subject to availability, it may not be available and no refund or compensation will normally be due for that specific request. For example, if a hotel is fully booked, it may not be able to offer an early check-in, late check-out or room upgrade even where the request was passed on in good faith.

Subject to availability means not guaranteed

Where a perk or benefit is described as subject to availability, the hotel or supplier decides whether it can be provided. This may depend on occupancy, arrival time, departure time, season, room category, maintenance, staffing and local operational conditions.

What to check before booking

Before you confirm your holiday, check exactly what is included and what is only requested. In particular, ask:

  • Is this benefit included in my package price?
  • Is it confirmed in writing?
  • Is it subject to availability?
  • Is there a local charge?
  • Does it depend on room type, board basis or travel dates?
  • Will it appear on my booking confirmation or voucher?
  • Who provides the benefit: GoToBeach, the hotel, airline, transfer supplier or another third party?

This avoids misunderstandings and helps us set the right expectations before you travel.

Frequently asked questions

Are GoToBeach holiday perks guaranteed?

Only where they are clearly shown as confirmed in your quote, booking confirmation, hotel voucher or supplier documentation. If a perk is described as subject to availability, requested, complimentary where available or at the hotel’s discretion, it is not guaranteed.

What kind of perks might be available?

Selected holidays may include benefits such as resort transfers, room upgrade requests, early check-in or late check-out requests, welcome amenities, hotel credits, spa discounts, private transfer upgrades or selected golf benefits. Availability depends on the hotel, destination, package, room type, travel dates and supplier terms.

Is an airport transfer a holiday perk?

Transfers may be included as part of selected GoToBeach packages, but they are only included where shown in your booking details and confirmed on your transfer voucher. If transfers are not shown as included, they may need to be added separately or arranged independently.

Can GoToBeach guarantee a room upgrade?

A room upgrade is guaranteed only if the upgraded room type is booked and confirmed as part of your package. If we request an upgrade from the hotel, it is usually subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed unless the hotel confirms it in writing.

Can I get early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-in and late check-out are usually controlled by the hotel and depend on occupancy and room readiness. We can pass on a request, but it is not guaranteed unless the hotel confirms it in writing. Some hotels may charge locally for late check-out.

What if a subject-to-availability perk is not provided?

If a perk was subject to availability, it may not be provided if the hotel or supplier cannot offer it at the time. No refund or compensation will normally be due for a subject-to-availability request that could not be fulfilled.

Where can I see which perks apply to my booking?

Check your quote, booking confirmation, hotel voucher, transfer voucher and any written supplier notes. If a benefit is not shown there, ask us before assuming it applies to your booking.

Can perks change after booking?

Confirmed perks should remain as stated in your documents, subject to supplier terms and operational conditions. Requested or subject-to-availability perks may change or may not be available. If a supplier changes or withdraws a confirmed benefit, we will review the position with the relevant supplier.

Are hotel credits or spa discounts refundable if I do not use them?

Usually not. Hotel credits, spa discounts and similar benefits are normally non-transferable, non-refundable and valid only during your stay, subject to the hotel’s own terms and expiry rules.

Can I ask for honeymoon, birthday or anniversary extras?

Yes. We can pass special occasion notes to the hotel, and some hotels may provide a small welcome amenity. Unless a specific benefit is confirmed in writing, special occasion extras are requests only and remain subject to hotel discretion and availability.

Want to know which perks apply to your holiday?

Our reservations team can explain what is included, what is requested, what is subject to availability and what can be added as a paid upgrade before you book.

Important — please read

This page provides general customer information about possible GoToBeach holiday perks and added-value benefits. Perks vary by destination, hotel, travel date, room type, board basis, supplier terms and availability.

A benefit is only part of your booking where it is clearly shown in your quote, booking confirmation, hotel voucher, transfer voucher or other supplier documentation. Marketing examples, general website text or previous customer experiences do not guarantee that the same benefit applies to your specific booking.

Benefits described as subject to availability, requested, complimentary where available, or at the hotel’s discretion are not guaranteed. They may depend on hotel occupancy, room readiness, arrival time, departure time, staffing, season, maintenance, supplier rules or local operational conditions.

GoToBeach will help pass requests to the relevant hotel or supplier and will review any issue involving a confirmed benefit, but we cannot guarantee hotel-controlled or supplier-controlled perks unless they are confirmed in writing as part of your booking.

General guidance only; perks, supplier conditions, hotel policies and added-value benefits may change. Last updated: May 2026. This page is reviewed on an annual basis or whenever a meaningful supplier or operational change makes a refresh necessary. Prepared by the GoToBeach Product Team.
