One Honest Note

Thomas's assessment of Marfa Bay is clear and consistent: if you are looking for bars, restaurants, nightlife or anything beyond the hotels themselves, Marfa Bay is not where you want to be. Mellieħa is ten minutes away and offers all of those things in a pleasant and manageable form. St Julian's is thirty minutes away for those who want the full energy of Malta's nightlife capital. But if the reason you are coming to Malta is to genuinely switch off — to wake up to sea views, to spend your days between the pool and the beach, and to let the stillness of the northern coastline do what it does — then Marfa Bay is, without question, the finest address on the island.
